A+E factual heads south of the border

Mexican free-to-air broadcaster TV Azteca has picked up a slate of factual series from US cablecaster A+E Networks.

The programme package comprises Hoarders (109×60’), My Ghost Story (20×30’), UFO Hunters (37×60’) and My Haunted House (39×60’).

Hoarders, focusing on people who cannot bear to throw anything away, has aired six seasons on A&E in the US since its premiere in 2009. It is produced by Screaming Flea Productions.

History series UFO Hunters, produced by Motion Pictures Productions, follows the team from UFO Magazine as they investigate reported cases from around the world. My Ghost Story and My Haunted House both originally aired on Lifetime.

The deals were announced by Ellen Lovejoy, VP and head of sales for Americas and formats at A+E Networks.
