Responsibilities
  • primary function - managing all aspects of clip licensing, from the clipping of the guest interviews to the delivery and billing
  • ensuring that every single guest interviews and other magnetisable video are clipped and ready to be pitched to potential buyers
  • working closely with the International guest booking teams to build and maintain a database of buyers of these clips
  • supporting content sales and acquisitions

Job Requirements:

Clip Licensing:
  • Cut all International guest interviews into clips, in a timely manner, which can be licensed externally
  • Add the necessary meta-data to the video clips
  • Coordinate with PR to ensure that you are effective in reaching the right client contact (usually belonging to the PR department) to send the review copy
  • Draft communication to the client contact to pitch clips for external use
  • Deliver the clips to clients and ensure successful reception of the clips
  • Issue PO and manage invoicing and billing

Reports to the Head of Distribution, Asia Pacific.

Skills & Experience:
  • Fresh college graduate or 1-2 years of prior work experience
  • Proven track record of being an effective project leader and going above and beyond what is required
  • Intelligent and ambitious, excited to learn the ropes of the media business
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills, able to communicate effectively through excel and power point
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to multi task
  • Ability to operate & communicate effectively across diverse cultural and business environments
  • Possess a positive, learners attitude, gets excited by the prospect of given additional responsibilities
  • Clear interest in the media and entertainment industry
  • Strong critical thinking ability with potential to be groomed into a commercial role in the future
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner
  • Ability to identify key priorities within a heavy workload and execute on them
