Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to play a key role in processing material orders for international broadcast and supplying support materials on behalf of our Twofour Rights sales team. Working closely with the Twofour in-house post-production team, you will help influence and make happen the technical operations/output and fulfil sales orders seamlessly whilst building excellent client relationships.

Main Outcome - To meet both individual and group target.
Special Factor - National and international travel as required.

Detailed Duties
  • To administer the materials sales order process as requested by the sales team, which includes broadcast materials (tape or digital files) and after sales assets. To maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all material orders processed
  • To update sales team with regards to materials orders and provide reports as required
  • To promote best practice processes in relation to materials management. To provide information for other areas of the business on the materials output of Twofour Rights to Head of Post Production and CFO. To use Rights systems relating to the business and sales process e.g. NetSuite and Rights Tracker
  • To advise the sales team on costs for supplying master tapes and / or digital files to clients to inform their deal negotiations
  • To liaise with MCR to ensure correct facilities are booked and distribution deliverables created
  • To manage the supply, tracking and order of relevant technical and after sales materials with Post / MCR to ensure timely and efficient delivery to clients to meet their deadlines
  • To trigger resolution of any after sales issues, including where Twofour does not hold all assets required in-house e.g. OSF, Boomerang etc.
  • To support MCR / Post with client rejection process if materials require amending / re-ordering
  • To manage and check support assets received from production and amend suitably for international distribution (transcripts, music cue sheets, pasc forms, synopsis, press pack stills / info)
  • To liaise with the management team to update them on media distribution, delivery options and budgets
  • To challenge our client technical requirements to recognise and implement the most efficient and cost effective distribution options for each programme/series
  • To be the main point of technical escalation for Twofour Rights Team and the handling of technical errors
  • To effectively exchange technical information in a sales environment where there might be limited understanding of technical jargon within the sales team
  • To work collaboratively with the Twofour Rights department across all levels in order to fulfil sales orders and contribute to the Rights division group targets
  • To build and maintain external and internal customer satisfaction with deliverable services and expertise
  • To develop an understanding of third party clearances including copyright material and music
  • To collate and deliver the submission of quarterly music reports /annual director reports
  • To assess commercial tracks and other copyright issues.  This might include assisting in the negotiating of fees and filing fully executed licenses and invoices

Job Requirements:

You will have an understanding of the television industry and either technical experience in a post-production role or significant exposure to post-production processes.  You will have excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills, as well as being a team-player with the ability to build great working relationships.
 
Education & Experience
  • Experience of working as part of a team and liaising with staff at different levels of seniority
  • Technical experience in a post-production role or significant exposure to post-production processes
Knowledge
  • To have an understanding of the television industry including sound technical knowledge of production and distribution platforms
  • Excellent working knowledge of spreadsheet management.
Specific Skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collate and simplify information for others’ consumption
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to create new systems for continuous improvement
