Job Description:

Autentic Distribution offers a rare opportunity for a dedicated Sales Manager to join our team in Cologne. Your primary role will be to distribute our content to international broadcasters and platforms. You will be working close with our General Manager and in direct coordination with the rest of our team.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the following territories: UK, Central and Eastern European Countries, Russia, Middle East and Africa
  • You will maintain and renew existing businesses as well as developing new revenues and clients with an excellent knowledge of Autentic Distribution’s current and expanding catalogue
  • You will proactively explore and develop new sales opportunities within the territories to advance the further growth of Autentic Distribution
  • You will develop and implement territory-specific pre-sales and sales strategies
  • You will attend all relevant trade markets and make appropriate sales trips
  • Your focus will be the issuing of final contracts, invoicing, payments, material requests and delivery of materials in coordination with your colleagues
  • You will compile vital information in terms of sales, broadcasting and ratings and generating PowerPoint presentations for internal and external reports
  • You will fulfil and enact the sales strategy as defined with the General Manager and provide regular comprehensive status reports
  • You will negotiate deals, and oversee all stages of the sales process
  • You will work closely with the Licensing Team and Marketing Team to ensure a strategic approach to rolling out the Brands in each respective market
  • Other general responsibilities will include maintaining and updating various databases and systems and managing our contractual processes, providing administrative support for internal and external meetings, including markets and festivals

Job Requirements:

Our ideal candidate would be a committed and driven TV Sales Manager with proven experience within the Factual TV market.
 
  • You will thrive on your ability to work under pressure to tight sales targets and deadlines
  • You will be a strategic thinker and a brand ambassador with a genuine interest within the Factual sector
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • You are a team-player
  • You have an understanding of relevant new technologies within the industry
  • You have a strong cultural awareness and understanding of the broadcaster landscape across the relevant local markets
  • You have a strong interest in the media, international business and lifestyle content
  • You are fluent in English, ideally with additional Eastern European or Russian language skills
  • A specific knowledge of the following markets will be a distinct advantage: UK, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa
