Zodiak brings in BBCWW exec

Zodiak Rights has hired a sales executive from BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) to replace its sales VP for Spain, Italy and Latin America.

Elliott Chalkley joins Zodiak following the exit of Myriam Lopez last month.

Reporting to head of sales Anne-Marie Pardoe, Chalkley will be responsible for non-scripted sales across Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Turkey at the international distribution arm of Zodiak Media.

Chalkley focused on Latin America, Northern Mediterranean territories and Iberia during his five years at BBCWW, which last week announced a reshuffle of its Western European operations.

The move comes after Zodiak Media chose international broadcast exec Marc-Antoine d’Halluin to succeed its outgoing CEO David Frank, whose departure was also revealed by C21.
