Zinc ups Sanderson to lead London labels

UK factual prodco Zinc Media Group has promoted Greg Sanderson to director of London Television, where he will lead the company’s four London-based labels.

These comprise specialist factual, history, archaeology, natural history, arts and music label Blakeway, current affairs and investigation programming brand Brook Lapping, Films of Record, which focuses on access documentaries, and factual format and daytime brand Reef.

Sanderson joined Zinc in 2015 as MD of Brook Lapping, before becoming interim MD of Zinc Television London earlier this year.

He began his career at Touch Productions and Flashback TV, following which he moved to the BBC as editorial executive of Storyville, rising to become exec producer and then commissioning editor for arts and music.

Sanderson’s credits over the years include Don’t Tell the Bride (BBC3), Paxman: Why Are Our Politicians so Crap? (Channel 5), To Catch a Serial Killer with Trevor McDonald (ITV) and The Search for a New Earth (BBC, FTV).
