Z Living promotes as Oller exits

US lifestyle network Z Living has promoted one of its executives to president ahead of the exit of Rafe Oller.

Rajeev Kheror

Rajeev Kheror, previously president of strategy and planning of international business at parent Zee Entertainment Enterprises, will operate from the network’s LA headquarters.

Oller, who has been CEO and general manager of Z Living since 2015, is leaving the channel to pursue a new venture. A search is underway for his replacement.

Executive VP and head of programming Tim Krubsack will continue to lead Z Living’s programming strategy, which is focused on health and wellbeing shows.

Amit Goenka, CEO of the international broadcast business of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, said: “Z Living has made great strides in the last several years and we thank Rafe Oller for his leadership in elevating the network’s original programming and marketing strategies.

“Now, as Z Living enters its next chapter, we have great faith in the vision of Rajeev Kheror to further the network’s commitment to programming dedicated to healthy living, and to broadening its reach in the US and globally.”

Kheror said the company sees “significant and growing interest in healthy lifestyle content, something that is culturally transcendent, which is especially relevant in this complex and ever-evolving marketplace.”

Z Living said October was its highest-rated month ever, both in total and prime, with Q4 trending to be the highest-rated quarter in the network’s history.

Earlier this year the network expanded its originals slate and acquired the back catalogue of long-running The Dr Oz Show from distributor Sony Pictures Television.
