Z Living grows originals slate

Finding Fido pairs dogs with owners

US-based lifestyle network Z Living has ordered second seasons of two of its original series and has greenlit development on multiple new shows.

Altar’d and Finding Fido will return to the broadcaster after being among the first originals primetime series ordered by Z Living last year.

Altar’d follows six engaged couples determined to lose weight and adopt healthy lifestyles before they get married, while Finding Fido sees author Seth Casteel pair up adoptable dogs with new owners. The shows are produced by Bodega Pictures and 3 Ball Entertainment respectively.

Meanwhile, Z Living is developing three other original series, including Work It Out, featuring fitness expert Denise Austin, from Bar Rescue producer 3 Ball Entertainment.

Brooke Peterson’s Celebrity Book Club comes from Critical Content and sees lifestyle expert and blogger Peterson put celebrity self-help books under the microscope.

I Lied for Love, hosted by actress and comedian Amy Paffrath, comes from Storage Hunters producer T Group and features people who have fallen in love with someone online but have embellished their dating profiles.

“These shows perfectly capture the intersection of health and entertainment, which is emblematic of our growing and compelling brand,” said Z Living CEO and general manager Rafe Oller.
