Yowza sets up digital toon copro

Toronto toon studio Yowza Digital has partnered with an Argentina-based artist and a Paris-based scriptwriter on an animated series aimed at tweens.

Cloud Club is based on a concept by artist/designer Maggie Moreno and has been co-created by scriptwriter and author Marie Beardmore.

Entertainment branding company ThinkTank Emporium is also onboard the transmedia animated series, which will be pitched by Yowza at the forthcoming Mip Jr and Mipcom markets in Cannes this October.

The series follows three tweens on a frenetic odyssey “behind the cyber-curtain to a world that exists just beyond our many gadgets, where the digital cloud world and the real world smash into each other,” according to its producers.
