Yowza, Pixcomm ring in Ting-Ting

MIPJUNIOR: Canadian kids studio Yowza Animation and Cape Town-based Pixcomm have teamed up to bring a preschool series about a young girl living in a patchwork world into development.

The two companies are developing Ting-Ting, about a young girl with bells in her hair who can grow anything from string beans to bouquets of balloons.

Each seven-minute episode uses rhyme and sound, as well as the varied visual texture associated with patchwork quilts, to support sensory learning and cognitive development.

Ting-Ting recently ranked first runner-up at the 2018 Ottawa Animation Festival Pitch This! competition.
