Sugar is from Entertainment One prodco Renegade 83 and 222 Productions, the outfit owned by Levine, who is also known for being a judge on the US version of singing talent show The Voice.

It will feature special guests including Snoop Dogg, Charlie Puth and Kelly Clarkson as they surprise some of their biggest and most inspiring fans who have given back to their communities in empowering ways.

The series is also being executive produced by David Dobkin, who was behind the music video for Maroon 5 song Sugar, which inspired the show.

Sugar will debut on YouTube’s subscription service YouTube Premium (fka YouTube Red), which earlier this month handed a straight-to-series order to half-hour comedic sci-fi anthology show Weird City.

YouTube Premium is currently available in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
