John Yorke, the former controller of BBC drama production, joined the Wolf Hall producer in October 2012, replacing founders George Faber and Charlie Pattinson.

An All3Media spokeswoman confirmed his departure to C21 today.

Yorke will continue to consult on the prodco’s drama projects and advise King Bert Productions, the indie launched by Jo Sargent, David Walliams and Miranda Hart last year.

Yorke said: “I’ve had a fantastic time working at Company on projects as diverse as Red Rock and Wolf Hall and am very sad to say goodbye to such great people, but the chance to set up in a different capacity working on a number of All3 shows as well as joining forces with Jo Sargent at King Bert was too good to refuse.”

New All3Media CEO Jane Turton is in the process of hiring a successor.

Company’s other credits include Inspector George Gently, Wild at Heart, The Shadow Line, Truckers and The Village.

In November, executive producer Mark Pybus left Company Pictures to join new UK indie The Forge, established by Company co-founder Faber.

Pattinson and Faber were initially set to launch their own prodco together, however those plans never came to fruition and Pattinson subsequently founded The Missing prodco New Pictures.
