Windfall, Brown Bob shows land at Cineflix

Discovery Science and CBS’s Mystery of the Northern Lights

Distributor Cineflix Rights has bolstered its catalogue by acquiring an array of factual content from fellow UK-based companies Brown Bob Productions and Windfall Films.

Shows from Brown Bob include Inside the Operating Theatre (20×60′), produced for UKTV, while the deal with Windfall includes How Things Work (10×60’) and Attack of the Zeppelins (1×60’).

How Things Work uses CGI to explain machinery and was produced for Discovery Science Channel and France TV, while Attack of the Zeppelins was made for the UK’s C4, Nova in the US and National Geographic Channels International.

Mystery of the Northern Lights (1×60’), produced for Discovery Science and CBS, is also included, along with shows such as Building Hitler’s Supergun: The Plot to Destroy London (1×60’), Egypt’s Great Pyramid: The New Evidence (1×60’) and Operation Lighthouse Rescue (1×60’).

The deal with Brown Bob Productions was closed by Catherine McCormick, manager, acquisitions and the agreement with Windfall Films was closed by Richard Life, recently appointed head of acquisitions at Cineflix Rights.
