WGN tracks down Dog’s Most Wanted

WGN America has commissioned an unscripted series fronted by bounty hunter Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman in which he pursues his most wanted fugitives.

Dog’s Most Wanted will go into production later this year, with Red Arrow Studios-owned Dorsey Pictures and Entertainment by Bonnie & Clyde.

The show will see former motorcycle gang member Dog and his wife Beth Chapman, supported by a team of hunters, as they track down some of the FBI’s most-wanted criminals.

It follows other series fronted by Dog and his team, such as Dog the Bounty Hunter on A+E Networks, which aired over 300 episodes in 10 years, and a revival that aired on CMT in 2012.

The show also marks the first original unscripted series on WGN America in over five years after the US cablenet decided to move away from commissioning original dramas.

Chris Dorsey (Building Alaska) and Matt Assmus serve as executive producers for Dorsey Pictures, while Dog and Chapman are executive producers for Bonnie & Clyde.
