WeMake brings the funny to France

NBC comedy competition series Bring the Funny

France-based prodco WeMake, part of Federation Entertainment, has acquired the rights to NBC comedy series Bring the Funny from NBCUniversal International Formats.

Developed and produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio, Bring the Funny is a competition which aims to find the next big talent in comedy.

Budding comedians must audition in front of an expert panel before 20 shortlisted candidates battle one another in a ‘comedy clash’ round with the hope of qualifying for the final.

The original series of Bring the Funny premiered on NBC in the US in July.
