Webb joins C21’s programming team

Former IBC and Edinburgh International Television Festival (EITVF) producer Adam Webb has joined C21Media as deputy head of event programming, working on the Content London and Content LA brands.

He was previously part of a team charged with reinventing the IBC conference, which brings together the world’s electronic media, business and entertainment sectors.

Prior to joining IBC, he was senior festival and content producer at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, where he helped build the three-day programme featuring more than 50 sessions.

He has a background in TV and digital production with a raft of credits on primetime television, including MasterChef (Endemol Shine UK, BBC1), the Bafta- and International Digital Emmy-winning Embarrassing Bodies: Live at the Clinic (Maverick TV, Channel 4), documentary and discussion series Kill It, Cook It, Eat It (Firefly, BBC3) and Channel 4’s The Taste (CPL Productions).

A qualified journalist, he has produced the current affairs programme The James Whale Show for talkSPORT radio.

He reports to head of event programming Ruth Palmer, who said: “We are delighted Adam has joined the team and look forward to making our events even better with his input.”

As deputy head of event programming at C21Media, he will help to deliver the most progressive conference agenda in the business as the market leading Content London and Content LA brands evolve.
