Warner Bros shakes up scripted team

Warner Bros Television has revamped the senior management team at its scripted development and current programming team with a series of promotions.

Clancy Collins-White

Clancy Collins-White has been upped from senior VP to exec VP of drama development, continuing to oversee drama series development across all platforms.

She has recently worked on shows including The CW’s Batwoman and Katy Keene, Prodigal Son for Fox, and CBS’s All Rise, which were all ordered to series at this year’s Upfronts.

Meanwhile, Adrienne Turner has been promoted from VP to senior VP of comedy, with a remit across new half-hour series and overseeing Warner Bros TV’s comedy team, which has worked on shows such as Young Sheldon and Little Voice for Apple.

She replaces Erin Wehrenberg, who left the company earlier this year to join US broadcaster ABC, where she’s overseeing comedy development.

Warner Bros has also upped Maddy Horne and Odetta Watkins to exec VP’s of current programming, as part of a new structure at the studio following the exit of Melinda Hage who retired recently.

Horne will work across current programming for broadcast series while Watkins’ remit includes premium cable channels and streamers, splitting up Hage’s previous job, which included all content.

Collins-White, Turner, Horne and Watkins report to Susan Rovner, who was appointed co-president at Warner Bros TV with Brett Paul in May. They, in turn, report to Warner Bros TV Group president and chief content officer Peter Roth.

Rovner said: “Clancy and Adrienne have helped develop some of our most successful shows, skillfully nurturing creative ideas, and giving our valued artists a platform to make their voices heard and to express themselves through their work

“Maddy and Odetta have expertly collaborated with our talented producers, supporting their ongoing vision and helping them to deliver their best, undeniable work every week, in an increasingly competitive environment.”
