Stage 13 will be made available via YouTube, Facebook and Stage13.com with a slate of 11 series this October.

Scripted series include I Love Bekka & Lucy, which follows the relationship between two best friends after one of them gets engaged. Rachael Holder created, wrote and directed the show, which is produced by Haven Entertainment.

The Incredible Life of Darrell follows an awkward wallflower who finds himself delaying the transition into adulthood at all costs. Darrell Lake created, wrote, directed and stars in the series, which is produced by West of 7th Digital Productions.

The first unscripted shows scheduled to debut under the Stage 13 banner include Lipstick Empire, which follows the co-founders and CEOs of Melt Cosmetics and is produced by Shed Media; and Marching Orders, which is produced by Gigantic Productions and takes a look at Bethune-Cookman University’s marching band.

Independent, meanwhile, follows four indie artists on the hip-hop music scene and comes from We Are Famous Productions.

Stage 13 is also producing two programmes for Verizon’s OTT service, go90. These are anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories and horror-comedy series Snatchers.

Stage 13 is being led by senior VP and general manager Diana Mogollón, alongside Christopher Mack, senior VP of Warner Bros Television and head of scripted content for Stage 13, and Shari Scorca, head of unscripted for Stage 13.

“Stage 13 provided us with an opportunity to connect with the multicultural audience through content that reflects culture and the new voices today,” said Craig Hunegs, president of business and strategy at Warner Bros Television Group and president of WBDN.

WBDN was created in June last year to develop digital and video productions.
