Warner brings Impractical Jokers to Mip

Warner Bros International Television will bring the hidden camera/prank property Impractical Jokers to Mipcom as both a series and format.

The half-hour series, from North South Productions, is due to air on TruTV in the US this December. It watches as four friends compete in awkward challenges and the loser is put through “mortifying” punishments.

“Like all the best concepts, the formula is incredibly simple and strong, and we know it will make audiences laugh across the world,” said Andrew Zein, senior VP of creative, format development and sales.
