Wandell wanders to Drama Summit

Morgan Wandell, head of drama development at Amazon Studios, has joined the line-up for C21’s International Drama Summit, which takes place from November 29 to December 1.

Wandell supervises the development and production of all one-hour original shows at Amazon and will share his thinking on upcoming development and the state of the market art the event, which is part of C21’s Content London.

He has shepherded numerous celebrated shows from conception to broadcast, including Amazon’s critically acclaimed series The Man in the High Castle and Bosch.

Before joining Amazon Studios, Wandell was an executive producer of ABC’s No Ordinary Family and president of Berlanti Television, the ABC Studios‐based production company behind primetime dramas such as Brothers and Sisters, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money.

Prior to becoming a producer, Wandell spent many years as a senior development and programming executive at ABC Studios, assembling the creative team that launched international hit franchises Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.
