Heather Walker, who has been an executive producer at Yowza since 2008, will now run the toon studio, with Chiasson and his brother Roger continuing to lead the creative team.

Claude Chiasson founded Yowza in 1996 and the company has worked for a range of high-profile clients including Universal, Warner Bros and Disney.

Yowza recently moved into a new 8,000 sq ft studio in downtown Toronto and is currently working on a series for Nickelodeon in the US as well as storyboards for Cartoon Network in the Middle East.

“My vision for Yowza Animation is to continue to expose the marketplace to our exceptional talent base through strong service and coproduction partnerships,” said Walker.
