VSTV takes BBC Studios dramas to Vietnam

BBC drama Les Misérables

MIPCOM: Vietnam Satellite Digital Television (VSTV) has struck a deal with BBC Studios to bring UK dramas Doctor Foster and Les Misérables to Vietnam.

The scripted series will air for the first time in the country on the premium K+ platform.

VSTV is a joint venture between national broadcaster VTV and Canal Overseas, the international distribution subsidiary of Canal+ Group which operates seven satellite platforms on five continents.

The deal will see a package of four series from BBC Studios air on K+, which is available for a monthly subscription via satellite pay TV or streaming services. As well as two seasons of Doctor Foster and Les Misérables, three seasons of Unforgotten and five of Luther are also included.
