VRT finds Honour in Sweden

Honour is being produced for streamer Viaplay

Belgian public service broadcaster VRT has picked up a Swedish crime thriller from Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights.

The network has become the first international channel to pick up Honour, which is produced by Sweden-based prodco Bigster for Nordic Entertainment Group’s streaming service Viaplay.

Due to premiere in 2019, the show was announced in November and will also get a free-to-air broadcast on TV3 in its homeland.

The plot focuses on four hungry, talented female lawyers fighting for justice on behalf of clients in need. However, the group harbours a secret that would bring down their law firm should the truth ever be revealed.
