Vodka spreads Jelly Jamm in Lat Am

Discovery Kids has acquired Latin American pay-TV rights to Jelly Jamm (52×11′), the 3D CGI musical cartoon from Spanish indies Vodka Capital, 737 Shaker and pubcaster TVE.

Jelly Jamm, aimed at four-to-six year-olds, follows the adventures of five friends who live together on a magical musical planet called Jammbo, the origin of all music in the universe.

Steven J Posner, managing partner at Vodka Capital, said he wanted to transform Jelly Jamm into a “highly recognisable cross-platform international kids entertainment brand.”

“It is an innovative series that allows kids to express themselves through music while exploring the world through incredible adventures,” added Bilai Joa Silar, VP and channel director of Discovery Kids Lat Am.

Vodka Capital debuted its latest series, Pirata & Capitano, a 52×11′ animated show about a pair of sea-faring animal pirates, at Mipcom this year.
