Videogame toon in play at Catalan net

MIPJUNIOR: Barcleona-based Televisio de Catalunya has ordered an kids’ cartoon series about a videogame character who escapes to the real world.

Bubble Bip (26×7′) is being coproduced by European producer-distributor Planeta Junior with Triacom Audiovisual and Televisio de Catlunya, while Planeta’s distribution arm is handling international sales.

The 3D comedy stars Bip, a videogame character who breaks out of the TV screen and travels around with a group of children.
