Viasat World visits Vet

European pay TV operator Viasat World has picked up an Australian factual entertainment series for its channels in Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe.

The Street Vet is shopped internationally by ABC Commercial, the sales arm of the Australian pubcaster, and will air on Viasat World’s Viasat Nature channel in 38 countries across the regions from August.

The 12×30’ series follows Dr Kwane Stewart, chief veterinary officer for American Humane, who spends his weekends treating homeless people’s pets in cities across the US.

The show is a coproduction between US firms Blizzard Road Productions and Vizion House Productions.
