Viacom lines up Facebook Watch slate

Viacom International Media Networks, the international arm of media giant Viacom, is partnering with Facebook to launch eight original shortform series on Facebook Watch.

The series will be created by Viacom’s MTV Asia as part of the publisher and creator video incubation programme for Facebook Watch.

Genres will range across music entertainment and reality, with the series featuring popular social influencers in Asia. Each series will comprise eight episodes, with each episode running for up to eight minutes.

Four shows will premiere later this year, with the remainder set to be developed in 2020.
