The half-hour comedy, which was renewed for a second 13-episode season in June last year, stars Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels and Kevin Bigley and focuses on a team of Chicago paramedics who struggle to keep their personal lives in order.

USA claimed the first season drew an audience of 1.62 million, making it the top new basic-cable comedy of 2013.

The show, which was USA’s first push into the original half-hour comedy genre, was exec produced by Denis Leary (Rescue Me) and Bob Fisher (Wedding Crashers).

Fox Television Studios and New York and LA-based Apostle, in conjunction with Daybreak Pictures, produced Sirens for USA.
