US, Lat Am nets claim Cineflix content

Secrets of the Morgue is from Cineflix Productions

Justice Network in the US and Discovery in Latin America are among broadcasters to have picked up programming from UK distributor Cineflix Rights ahead of Natpe Miami.

Justice Network has acquired a number of true crime programmes including Cineflix Productions’ Secrets of the Morgue season one (26×60’) and Bizarre Murders (52×30’).

LMNO-produced Hollywood & Crime (6×60’) and Murder She Solved: True Crime S1-3 (24×60’), produced by Force Four Entertainment and Mystique Films are also included in the package.

The first season of Secrets of the Morgue has also been picked up by Investigation Discovery in the US and by Canada’s CBC.

Elsewhere, Discovery Latin America has taken travel documentary The Wall (6×60’), produced by Rondo Media/JTV, for its LatAm and US Hispanic channels.

Cineflix Productions’ history docuseries Hitler’s Most Wanted (10×60’) has also been taken by the broadcaster for LatAm. Seasons five and six of property shows Brother vs Brother (12×60’) and Property Brothers season eight (18×60’) from Scott Brothers Entertainment and Cineflix Productions respectively are also included in the slate.

Lucinda Gergley-Garner, senior VP of sales, North America and German-speaking territories, closed the deal with Justice Network, while the Discovery Latin America deal was arranged by Sabrina Ayala, senior VP of sales for France, Italy, Iberia and Latin America.
