UKTV’s W calls for Ambulance

UKTV has commissioned an original fixed-rig documentary series looking at the work of the ambulance service in the UK for its W channel.

Inside The Ambulance (10×60’) will use GoPro cameras mounted inside vehicles to give an insight into the work of first response emergency workers in the west Midlands.

The show, from Brown Bob Productions, is the first fixed-rig docuseries for the newly launched entertainment, which replaced Watch at the turn of the year.

It was ordered by Hilary Rosen, deputy director of commissioning, and Steve North, W general manager. Rosen will executive produce for UKTV with Jacqueline Hewer for Brown Bob alongside head of production Nicki Gottlieb.
