UKTV demands Fast Justice from ITN

Multichannel operator UKTV has commissioned a 10-part police access docuseries for general entertainment channel Dave.

Fast Justice is the first original commission at UKTV for London-based ITN Productions.

It follows a group of Sussex Police officers who have been armed with state-of-the-art Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology with instant access to a network of cameras across the country, and new, high-performance, customised BMWs.

The 10×60’ series will follow real stories as they happen, featuring issues including drug trafficking, human trafficking and violent, serious and complex crimes.

It was commissioned for UKTV by Hilary Rosen, head of factual and factual entertainment, and ordered by Dave channel director Luke Hales and genre general manager for comedy and entertainment Steve North.

The series is executive produced for ITN Productions by Charlie Clay and Will Smith. DCD Rights will distribute the show internationally.
