NEWS BRIEF: UK multichannel broadcaster UKTV has added classic British police procedural The Bill to its VoD service UKTV Play, following a deal with distributor Fremantle.

The Bill ran on commercial broadcaster ITV from 1984 to 2010 and was based on the officers at fictional Sun Hill Police Station in East London. Seasons one to five will begin streaming on May 1.
