TVO exec goes back to Breakthrough

The children’s acquisitions officer at Canuck broadcaster TVO has left to re-join Breakthrough Entertainment as its VP of family entertainment.

Suzanne Wilson previously held the role of senior administrator of business affairs at Breakthrough between 2010 and 2013 before she joined TVO.

Wilson will report to Joan Lambur, executive VP of family entertainment and executive producer, who leads Breakthrough’s family division.

The exec has also held roles at companies including BBC Worldwide, Portfolio Entertainment, The Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Company, Lambur & Associates and the Chocolate Liberation Front.

Toronto-based Breakthrough’s family arm is behind series such as YTV’s Anne of Green Gables, Nickelodeon/YTV series Ride and the forthcoming Wandering Wenda for CBC.
