TV4 taps YouTube’s Cool Beers

TV4 in Sweden has recruited a trio of famous YouTubers for a comedy series about young people working in the local council of a small town.

Småstaden will star brothers Victor and Emil Beer alongside their cousin Joel Adolphson, who rose to online fame in Sweden with their YouTube channel IJustWantToBeCool.

The series will also star well-known faces from Swedish film and television, such as Klara Zimmergren, Sven Björklund, Pia Johansson and Felix Herngren.

It is produced by Stockholm-based FLX and will premiere on TV4 and catch-up service TV4 Play later this month.
