TV4 gets in step with C4’s Flirty Dancing

Flirty Dancing aired on Channel 4 in the UK

Swedish network TV4 has bought dancing/dating format Flirty Dancing, which originally aired on Channel 4 in the UK.

The All3Media format sees two singletons each learn the corresponding halves of a dance routine, but they only meet each other when they have to perform on stage. After performing, the couple then decide if they want to see each other again.

Choreographed and hosted by Ashley Banjo in the UK, Flirty Dancing will be fronted by Rennie Mirro in Sweden. The four-part series, exec produced by Karin Dofs, will premiere on TV4 this autumn.

In other news, TV4 and digital platform C More have commissioned a local version of the Wild Kids format from local Banijay-owned prodco Jarowskij.

TV4 talent Linda Lindorff will host the show, distributed by Banijay Rights, which sees two teams of children competing in physical and knowledge based challenges to win the trip of a lifetime.
