TV2, Kanal D adopts Twofour kids quiz

What Would Your Kid Do? airs on ITV in the UK

TV2 in Hungary and Kanal D in Turkey have commissioned local versions of UK production company Twofour’s format What Would Your Kid Do?.

Twofour Rights, the distribution arm of ITV-owned Twofour, has secured the deals ahead of the Natpe market in Budapest next week when it will be showcased as part of its catalogue.

The Hungarian and Turkish versions will go into production this summer, based on the original UK show, which is produced by Twofour’s Boomerang arm for ITV and is hosted by comedian Jason Manford.

The format challenges parents to guess how their children will behave in a variety of situations, merging specialist factual child development psychology with a gameshow mechanic.

Sales were brokered by sales executive Marta Csizmadia as she prepares to attend Natpe in Budapest, offering a catalogue of more than 1,200 hours of content. Titles include time travel format This Time Next Year, relationship format A Night With My Ex and high-volume daytime show Extreme Cake Makers.
