TV2 Hungary adapts Argentine series

Hungarian network TV2 has acquired remake rights to an Argentine telenovela from Viacom International Studios Americas.

Sres Papis follows four fathers whose children attend the same kindergarten. Being the only male parents to take their kids to the school, the men become friends.

TV2’s version, which will air this autumn, will run under the local title Mintaapak (Perfect Daddies).

The original version of the series has been sold into more than 15 countries, while the format has been licensed in Chile, Mexico, Peru, Slovakia, Ukraine, the Middle East, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, Romania and Serbia.

Premiering in Argentina in 2014, the original series is written by Cecilia Guerty, Pablo Junovich, Marcela Guerty and Pamela Rementeria.
