David Tennant stars in Deadwater Fell

Deadwater Fell is among half-a-dozen UK drama series Turner Latin America has licensed from distributor Endemol Shine International (ESI).

Produced by Kudos for UK pubcaster Channel 4, the dark drama’s ensemble cast includes Good Omens’ David Tennant, The Good Fight’s Cush Jumbo, Matthew McNulty and Anna Madeley.

Created and written by Daisy Coulam (Grantchester, Humans), the four-parter was recently acquired by US SVoD service Acorn TV.

Turner Lat Am has taken the programme alongside fellow Kudos miniseries Gunpowder, starring Games of Thrones’ Kit Harrington, plus other titles including Sky originals Tin Star and Guerrilla and BBC dramas The Hour and The Fall.

ESI senior VP of Latin America Veronique Verges struck the deal following Napte Miami last week.
