Turkey elects People’s Choice

MIPCOM: Endemol Turkey has licensed Armoza Formats’ new primetime show The People’s Choice.

Developed with TF1 in France, the entertainment format has already been picked up by Germany’s Tresor TV Produktions, Toro in Italy and Elk Productions in Sweden.

Gokhan Tatarer, MD of Endemol Turkey, described The People’s Choice as a new generation of entertainment. It is also Endemol Turkey’s second deal with Armoza, following Still Standing, which was made for Star TV.

“We know that it’s getting harder to keep viewers at their screens and The People’s Choice addresses this broadcaster need by taking audience engagement to the next level in a live, interactive TV event where the viewers create the content in a fun, quick and simple way,” said Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats.
