Turkcell ventures into ZDFE’s Wild District

ZDF Enterprises’ Wild District

Turkey’s Turkcell has acquired rights to drama series Wild District from Germany’s ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE).

The 10×60’ series is part of a drama package taken by the mobile operator for its TV+ platform. It has also picked up Beyond Appearances (6×52’) and Victor Lessard (30×60’) from ZDFE, the commercial arm of the German pubcaster.

Wild District is produced by Dynamo in coproduction with ZDFE and tells the story of a man who escapes the Colombian armed conflict only to find himself facing a private war on two fronts.

Turkcell is a mobile operator in Turkey and TV+ offers more than 150 pay TV channels and an SVoD service.
