This week on C21FM, we heard from C21 editorial director Ed Waller, senior reporter and kids editor Nico Franks and Drama Quarterly editor Michael Pickard, who reflected on Mipcom as it got underway – not in its usual glamorous Cannes setting but online for the first time in its 35-year history.

We also spoke to Nicola Söderlund, managing parter of Eccho Rights; Entertainment One’s family brands president Olivier Dumont and executive VP of content sales Monica Candiani; and Lineup Industries co-founders Ed Louwerse and Julian Curtis about their businesses’ current focus and what the lack of physical markets means for them.

The C21FM Weekly Review Show also includes Fremantle director of global entertainment Rob Clark speaking about adapting gameshows to Covid-19 restrictions and dealing with the absence of Mipcom; Sex & the City creator Darren Star on his new series Emily in Paris; and Israeli comedian and writer Reshef Levi talks dramedy Nehama.

Rounding out this week’s C21FM interviews we return to C21’s Waller, Franks and news editor Clive Whittingham, who consider the main talking points from Mipcom Online+ as the virtual equivalent of Europe’s biggest TV market drew to a close.

All of this, together with a mix of music to keep you sane. Thanks for listening.
