Today would normally be the final day of Europe’s biggest international TV market, distributors from all around the world would be packing up their stands in the Palais des Festival in Cannes and the C21 team would be scrambling to file final stories from the market before hopping in cabs to Nice airport.

But this year there is no normal, no physical edition of Mipcom and the team is already home as the coronavirus continues to wreak havoc. The virtual incarnation of the event continues, however, and the week has featured a range of speakers including Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, über-producer Tyler Perry and Sky CEO Jeremy Darroch.
