Shooting on ambitious new TF1 zombie-themed adventure gameshow District Z was postponed from March to July due to the pandemic but has now been completed and is being readied for broadcast and international sales.

Julien Degroote, the French broadcaster’s executive VP and head of content development, speaks with Gün Akyuz about the show, the company’s wider unscripted strategy, including the type of formats it’s looking for, and his hopes that the coronavirus crisis won’t stifle the pipeline of new programmes reaching audiences.

Filming for the third and final season of hit Welsh drama Keeping Faith was cut short when the pandemic prompted a production shutdown earlier this year. Now back on set, producer Llyr Morus speaks with Michael Pickard about how Covid-19 has affected the creative and practical aspects of making the series and how S4C lockdown drama Lifeline helped maker Vox Pictures prepare the groundwork.
