Tubi serves up MasterChef, Lego Masters

Lego Masters premiered on Channel 4 in the UK

Fox Entertainment-owned AVoD service Tubi will launch international versions of MasterChef and Lego Masters on its platform after signing a distribution deal with Endemol Shine.

The US versions of MasterChef and Lego Masters air on Fox and the new deal will make Tubi the exclusive US home for international versions of the formats, including those from Australia, Mexico, Canada and the UK.

MasterChef launched in the UK on the BBC in 1990, where it ran for over a decade before being revived in 2005. Since then, the hit culinary competition series has aired in 35 markets around the globe.

Lego Masters, meanwhile, premiered in the UK on Channel 4 in 2017 and has since been sold into eight markets in Europe, the US and Australia. The format sees Lego enthusiasts compete to build the best projects out of Lego bricks.
