TruTV turns to Kutcher

US cablenet TruTV has ordered a factual series from Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg’s prodco Katalyst Media.

California DMV: Field Offices (working title) will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Katalyst, the company behind US series Punk’d and Beauty & the Geek, previously worked for TruTV on comedy series Exposed!

Marc Juris, executive VP and general manager of TruTV, said: “This promises to be a fast-paced fun series.” Hedda Muskat is executive producer along with Anthony Horn for TruTV. No airdate or series length has yet been set.
