TruTV starts Backyard Bar Wars

WarnerMedia-owned US cable channel TruTV has ordered a series from Red Arrow Studios-owned 44 Blue Productions about people building bars in their gardens.

Hosted by US comedian Chris Distefano, Backyard Bar Wars sees two neighbours compete to see who can build the best bar in their back garden.

The show will be exec produced by Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, David Hale and Dan Snook of 44 Blue, with Reno Camozzi showrunning.

The 10×30’ series is described as a comedic send-up of the home-renovation genre. It will be filmed around LA with a July 2021 premiere date.
