US cablenet TruTV has ordered a spin-off of its hit Hardcore Pawn reality series, focusing exclusively on weapons and military equipment.
Hardcore Pawn: Fort Bragg comes together with a sixth season order of the original Hardcore Pawn (left) and is also being made by Zodiak USA.
The Fort Bragg series will premiere later this year focusing on a unique pawn business called Guns Plus, located next to the military compound. The company is staffed by veterans with first hand, in depth knowledge of the rare and collectible weapons that come through the doors.
TruTV has ordered seven episodes executive produced by Grant Mansfield, Natalka Znak, Mike Gamson and Ken Snow.
Hardcore Pawn is based on an pawnbroker called American Jewelry and Loan and focuses on the artefacts that are brought in and the family that runs the business.
TruTV has also ordered an extra 13-episodes of vehicle repossession series Lizard Lick Towing – currently midway through its second season run – and also made by Zodiak USA.
