TrustNordisk names new MD

The long-serving MD of Denmark-based distributor TrustNordisk is stepping down after 20 years with the company to launch a new venture.

Rikke Ennis is setting up a company dealing with development, financing and packaging of TV series and feature films.

Susan Wendt, director of international sales and marketing, will take over as MD, effective immediately.

Wendt has also been with the film- and TV-focused company since its foundation, overseeing deals for titles from Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Susanne Bier, Hannes Holm, Roar Uthaug and Hans Petter Moland, among others.

Wendt said: “Rikke and I have been working closely together for more than 10 years. It’s very sad and took some time to digest that Rikke had decided to leave, but we will continue in her spirit. This has been prepared over a longer period of time and luckily we will continue working together in the future.”
