Truly Original hires Senior Paramount exec

Endemol Shine North America-owned producer Truly Original has hired Paramount Network’s head of alternative development and original programming.

Chachi Senior

Chachi Senior, an Emmy-winning producer and longtime network executive, has joined the firm as head of development.

Based in LA and New York, Senior will oversee the Truly Original creative development roster for all platforms and across all content genres, including documentary, reality and formats. He will work with Truly Original co-presidents and co-CEOs Glenda Hersh and Steven Weinstock.

At Paramount Network, Senior oversaw franchises including Ink Master, which is produced by Truly Original, and Bar Rescue. He also executive produced the Peabody-winning documentary series Time: The Kalief Browder Story and earned two Emmys for fellow docuseries Book Obsessed.

Prior to joining Paramount, Senior was CEO of entertainment format company Ardaban, which produced content in conjunction with Shine America, now known as Endemol Shine North America.

Before Ardaban, Senior served as co-president of IAC’s Notional. He also spent three years at City Lights Media and was at AMC Networks and First Motionless Pictures.

“I’m incredibly fortunate at this stage of my career to have choices about my next chapter. Ultimately, my desire was to be on the development and producing side of the business and that was cemented by getting to do it at Truly Original with Steven and Glenda,” said Senior.

Truly Original series include The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Potomac, Don’t Be Tardy, Shahs of Sunset, Summer House and the upcoming Family Karma for Bravo.
