TriForce launches diversity initiative

UK equal opportunities organisation TriForce Creative Network has set up a diversity and inclusion support service that will offer an industry-recognised benchmark for companies in the entertainment business.

Dandi aims to help organisations to diversify their workforce by representing a broader range of talent both on and off screen.

The scheme will offer services including consulting, recruitment support and event management. It will cater to broadcasters, production companies, distributors, theatres and agents working in entertainment.

Proceeds from the organisation will support TriForce’s work to improve access to the industry – including programmes such as MonologueSlam UK, the TriForce Short Film Festival and WriterSlam.

“Dandi has been created to offer a one-stop shop for organisations to connect with talent from across the UK,” said Fraser Ayres, CEO of Dandi and TriForce Creative Network.

“By signing up to Dandi, organisations will be helping to support the vital work we do to open up opportunities in the industry to talent from all walks of life.”

Last year, TriForce Productions launched a writer incubator scheme to fund young writers’ TV projects.
